Abstract

|
Play therapy was administered to a 5-year old girl, who had fear and anxiety symptoms with autistic tendencies.
For this study, 59 play therapy sessions were administrated. These sessions were hold in a safety controlled environment while relationship techniques with individuals and groups were reinforced.
The main goal of this study was to lead the child into an emotional state of safety and wellbeing.
Through play therapy, the child became to feel safe. Therefore, she became responsive and happy, and eventually disappeared her fear and anxieties.
